Mr. Willie O. Dulac

October 18, 1940 - January 30, 2016

AUBURN- Willie O. Dulac, 75, of Lewiston died on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with his loving family by his side following a long illness. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on October 18, 1940 the son of the late Willie R. and Florence (Grenier) Dulac and had been a resident of this community all of his life. He was educated in Lewiston schools and had obtained his GED at the Lewiston & Auburn College. Willie enjoyed playing bass with local bands known as Patches, Patch Work, Rare Breed and Gloria Jean and the Easy Riders. He also enjoyed going out to eat, watching horror movies, his cat Simba, doing crossword puzzles and slowly unwrapping his presents at Christmas time. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife the former Diane Veilleux Dulac whom he married on October 18, 1969 of Lewiston; two daughters Annette Dumont and her husband Bert of Greene and Arlene MacDonald and her husband Scott of Turner; four sons Willie Dulac and his wife Judy of Greene, Raymond and Gary Dulac both of Auburn and Paul Dulac and his fiancé Lisa Frasier of Gardiner; two brothers Ralph Dulac and his wife Diane of Hartford and Ronald Dulac and his wife Linda of Auburn; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Lillian Brideau; a brother Lucien Dulac; and a nephew Chucky Dulac. The family wishes to thank the Androscoggin Home Hospice for the wonderful care they have given to Willie throughout his illness. Funeral services honoring Willie’s life will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing may make donations in Willie’s memory to the Hospice House of Androscoggin 236 Stetson Road Auburn, Maine 04210. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
