Theresa M. Greenleaf

December 13, 1926 - August 3, 2015

AUBURN - Theresa Camire Greeleaf, 88, died at the Hospice House on monday August 3rd. after a long illness. Theresa was born on december 13, 1926 in Goffstown, NH to Napoleon and Virginie (Rondeau) Camire. She lived most of her life in Auburn, and worked at various mills throughout her working career until retiring. Theresa was known for her motherly wisdom and humor as the matriarch of the family. She loved spending time with her family and friends, knitting, and socializing at the American Legion Post #22. Theresa's favorite event of the year was the annual family reunion held every July at Uncle Toot's and Aunt Jackie's camp typically 200 or more of the Camire family would celebrate their heritage. Suvivors include her children Patsy Cummins of Auburn, Paul and Jeannine Greenleaf of Minot, Gerry and Carolyn Greenleaf of Steep Falls, Tina and Bobby Roy of Mexico, her brothers and sisters Lucien Camire and Sue McNally of Wells, Armand and Jean Camire of Leeds, Richard (Toots) and Jackie Camire of Greene, tony Camire of Auburn, Delores Lepage of Derby Ct., and Beverly Greenleaf of Portland, Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Greenleaf, a daughter Theresa Greenleaf, sister, Yvette Pelotte, and brothers Renee, Roland, and George Camire. Our heart warm thank-you to the amazing staff at Central Maine Heart & Vascular Institute and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their help and support. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Theresa's life will be celebrated THURSDAY August 6th 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Church. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.Memorial donations in Theresa's memory may be made to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, ME. 04210 Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday August 5th from 6-8PM at the PINETTE DILLINGHAM & LYNCH FUNERAL hOME 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023
