Claude P. Mathieu Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Claude P. Mathieu of Lisbon, Maine, 62, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2022 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was the son of Joseph and Georgette Mathieu, born in Lewiston, Maine on June 23, 1959. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1977 and went on to work at Bath Iron Works, Ebara Technologies and Honeywell. Claude enjoyed motocross, stock car racing, operating his tractor, tinkering around the house, sitting by the fire and motorcycle rides. Among many things, he will be remembered for his abilities to fix and maintain nearly anything around the house and at work. He enjoyed raising his daughters and spending time with his family, friends and dogs. He is survived by his companion Lori Freeman and her two daughters, Ally and Abbie Aspinall; his three daughters, Dominique, husband Jonathan Ross and children Caelin and Lucien of Poland, Gabrielle of Bowdoin, Soleil and husband Josh Gibbs of Minot; and five siblings, Daniel and wife Diane of Augusta, Monita and husband John Bell of Ball Ground, Ga., Diane of Port Richey, Fla., Janet of Lewiston, and Lisa and husband Robert Paquette of Sanford. Visitation will be held at Pinette, Dillingham & Lynch Funeral home in Lewiston on Saturday, January 15, from 1:00- 4:00 followed by a Service of Remembrance from 4:00- 5:00.
