Mr. Romeo N. Bouchard Jr.

AUBURN - Romeo N. Bouchard, Jr., 82, a resident of the Middle Rd. Sabattus passed away peacefully Wednesday October 21st at the Hospice House with his loving family by his side after a long illness. He was born in Lewiston, July 4, 1933 the son of Romeo and Simonne (Cloutier) Bouchard, Sr. Mr. Bouchard an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and married the former Rena Long on April 19, 1952. He was employed over 40 years at the former Gould and Scammon retiring in 1994. He was a member of Holy Family Church, and was a member of the DAV. Romeo loved his family and always encouraged “Family Sunday Get Together’s “ sharing family time was a priority in the Bouchard household which were all very important in his life. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and playing Bingo. Survivors include his wife, Rena , one son, Lenny Bouchard and wife Marianne, two daughters, Cathy and Lisa (Tremblay) Bouchard, two brothers, Maurice Bouchard and wife Margaret, and Thomas Bouchard and wife Sheila, one half sister Lucille Gagnon, as well as four grandchildren, Rosalie, Courtney, Austin, and Hunter. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son Carl, a brother Paul, and a sister Brenda. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Romeo’s life will be celebrated Saturday October 24th 11:00AM at Holy Family Church. Committal prayers to follow with military honors at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
