Marion B. Tarr

March 13, 1922 - July 16, 2012

AUBURN - Marion B. Tarr, 90 a resident of Hebron died Monday evening at the Hospice House following a long illness. She was born in Plymouth, NH., March 13, 1922, the daughter of Marshall and Violet (Pryme) Ryea. Marion was educated in Wentworth NH schools and became a welder at Bath Iron Works during World War II and made the National Archives as a result of her service during the war. She then went on to work in local shoe shops until her retirement. She loved her family and her pet dogs and enjoyed cooking for her family which they all would look forward to. Survivors include one son, Timothy Tarr and wife Christine of Hebron, four daughters, Betty Goffin of Ipswich, MA., Lorraine Dugin of Hebron, Louis Feltis of Somerville, and Patricia Weston and husband, Bill of South Paris; one brother, Raymond Ryea of Georgia and one sister, Mrs.Hildred Andrews of Germantown, MD. Also surviving are many generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Herbert, she was predeceased by three sisters, 2 brothers, and one daughter, Ellen Roy. Funeral services honoring Marion's life will be held FRIDAY 11:00AM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son. Graveside committal prayers to follow at Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield. Memorial donations in Marion's memory may be made to Ledgeview Living Center 141 Bethel Road West Paris, ME 04289 Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at DILLINGHAM & SON MEMORIAL CHAPEL 62 Spring St., Auburn, 784-6449.
