Mrs. Lorena M. Jipson

August 9, 1935 - October 3, 2021

AUBURN - Lorena May Jipson 86, died Sunday October 3rd at home peacefully, She was born on August 9, 1935 the daughter of John S. Alexander and Luvia S. (Hunton) Alexander. Lorena married Arthur E. Jipson, Jr., on November 13, 1954 in Auburn. Together they raised five children. They spent 41 years together before Arthur’s death in 1995. She worked at Falcon Shoe for years with her husband. Lorena loved spending time with family and friends, doing word search books while watching TV shows including watching sporting events the Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox, and auto racing. Survivors include her children, David Jipson, Brenda Jipson, Candy Cote and husband Gerard, and Kim Jipson and boyfriend Jeff Libby. One brother John Alexander and wife Thelma. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Bourgoin, and husband Roger, Jessica Ritchie and girlfriend Brooke, Kayla Edwards and husband Corey, Hope Jipson Staples and husband Chris, Kristina Theriault and husband Mike, and Justin Jipson and wife Marcie. Her great grandchildren Brianna, Madisyn, Owen, Elsa, and Roslyn. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Arthur and her son Rick. A Memorial Gathering will be held 11:00AM to 1:00PM Monday October 11th at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
