Mrs. Henriette C. Bergeron
May 15, 1929 - January 23, 2016
LEWISTON –Henriette C. Bergeron, 86, a resident of Bates Street in Lewiston passed away suddenly and unexpectedly with her loving family by her side at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lewiston, May 15, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Liziane (LeBrun) Giasson. Henriette married the love of her life, Emilien Bergeron on June 7, 1947 and predeceased her on May 13, 1996. She was employed most of her life in the local shoe and textile industry until her retirement. Henriette loved doing arts and crafts as well as travelling with family including her annual visit to Old Orchard Beach. She was also breakfast and coffee club member at Sam’s on Main St. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Survivors include one son, Leo Bergeron and wife Jackie of Lewiston, two daughters, Irene Roy and husband Roger of Lewiston, and Claire Tremaine of Sabattus; one brother, Raymond Giasson and wife Peggy of New Burn, NC; three sister in laws, close friend, Muriel Kramarz, as well as 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Emilien, she was predeceased by five brothers, Armand, Robert, Maurice, Andre, and Adrian, and one sister, Annabelle. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Henriette’s life will be celebrated WEDNESDAY January 27th 11:00AM at Holy Family Church. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
