Mrs. Antoinette M. Darling

January 17, 1924 - May 17, 2018

AUBURN – Antoinette (Toni) Darling 94, a resident of Auburn passed away peacefully Thursday May 17th at the Hospice House with her loving family by her side. She was born in Ft. Kent January 17, 1924 the daughter of Damaise and Georgianna (Charette) Bois. She married Donald Darling in 1941 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. She was employed at Raytheon, Arrow Heart and Auburn Heel. She was a founding member of St. Philip’s Church. She was active at the Church Christmas Fairs for many years. She was a member of St. Philip’s Seniors, First Auburn Seniors, Robin Dow Seniors, St. Philip Family Group, and the Happy Red Hat Society. Survivors include one daughter Virginia Lytch and husband Larry of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Ronald Darling and wife Joanne of Lebanon, TN, Donald Darling Jr., and wife Cyndi of Carmel, one daughter in law Marguerite Darling of Portland; four grandchildren Michael Darling of OH; Dennis Darling and wife Sandra of North West Canton, OH, Alfred Darling and wife Amber of Lebanon, TN, Michelle Eoff of Arizona, nine great grandchildren Christopher Matthew, Stevie, Rene, Melanie, Amanda, Madison, Alfred Darling, Jr., and Alyssa Eoff. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a son, Harry as well as two brothers David and Leonard Bois, and two sisters Ann Cifelli, and Leona Mann. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Antoinette’s life will be celebrated THURSDAY 11:00AM May 24th at St. Philip’s Church. Graveside committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Antoinette’s memory may be made to the Androscoggin Hospice House 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, ME 04210.
